Hi there! I’m from the “Great Lakes State”, also known as Michigan. I’m a graduate of Western Michigan
University; my background includes a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services, with a minor in Psychology. Moreover, I obtained Specialty Certification in Sensory Integration from University of Southern California (USC Chan) and a Level One Certification in Yoga for Children With Special Needs.
I have always had a passion for working with children. I absolutely LOVE being a pediatric OT and believe in celebrating every step of progress, no matter how small! One of my favorite things about working in pediatrics is using a play-based, sensory-motor approach. I adore seeing kids (and their families) having fun and laughing as they reach developmental milestones and achieve their goals.
My areas of expertise include:
Sensory Processing and Integration
Feeding and Eating Challenges
Primitive Reflex Integration
Early Childhood (Birth through 5)
Outside of working with children, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. When I am not listening to music, I am enjoying audiobooks, drinking iced coffee, and catching up with family and friends back home.
