Hello! I received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and received my Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at Emory and Henry College in Marion, Virginia.
One of my favorite things about working with children is that I get to play, laugh, and imagine with my clients. As a pediatric occupational therapist, I enjoy using a play-based, sensory-motor, and neuro-affirming approach. During my sessions, I utilize the Parent-Coaching model to provide my families with the skills and confidence to best interact and support their children.
My specialty training includes fine motor development, sensory-based interventions, visual perceptual skills, aquatics, and Trust Based Relationship Intervention (TRBI) training.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring Colorado by camping, hiking, and visiting local coffee shops with my two dogs and husband. My hobbies include quilting, thrift shopping, gluten-free baking, and reading books.
