Carissa M. Wilkins

M.S., CCC-SLP

Growing up I always had a passion for working with others and knew early on I wanted to work with children with exceptional needs.

I completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Nebraska-Omaha and my masters at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. I focused my undergrad and graduate research on autism spectrum disorder and childhood apraxia of speech.

I enjoy working with children of all ages and abilities. Being a speech and language pathologist is very rewarding; the progress that children are able to make with speech and language therapy is amazing.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and puppy, as well as, anything I can do outside in the Colorado sunshine.
